• Design and implementation of development programme for senior management team, including team building and one-to-one coaching.  Also facilitated vision, mission and goal setting planning sessions for the commercialisation of the school.

Digital Equipment Company Limited- Import/ Export/ Quality  1989 to 1998

Acts as the company representative with HM Customs & Excise, Customers and Suppliers for all matters pertaining to the Import and Export of computer-related material, as well as the relocation of employees within Digital offices world-wide.

Examples of projects:

• Identification, definition and implementation of a UK-wide computer database for international shipping.
• Identification, design and implementation of supply chain customer satisfaction survey.
• Worked with HM Customs & Excise on customs simplification initiatives for Digital (Local Import Control and Local Export Control).
• Lead-time reduction initiative, including the use of  innovative end-delivery address.
• Design and Implementation of a supplier selection and KPI programme, including the requirement for self-assessment.
• Outsourcing the international shipping department to improve productivity and headcount reduction UK wide.
• Outsourcing the in-house customs clearance (computer software and work load) to a third-party in order to maximise control and reduce costs.

Personal.

36 years old, divorced with five year old daughter.  Throughout his life Patrick has travelled and lived extensively in other countries, namely Africa [Ghana and Guinea], Hong Kong, Singapore, Iraq, France and England.  Patrick is therefore very able and willing to work, contract or otherwise, overseas.  Enjoys rollerblading,  Feng Shui and the challenges of computer technologies (has built a website in his spare time).
