Values and Diversity
What is it?
Four different leaves sprouting fromthe same stem are a natural metaphor for disversity. Each leaf is unique, but all four are dependent on the same branch for nourishment and growth. Like the leaves, eack individual has something special to contribute. When influences of stereotypes limit our potential yet we all value diversity as a source or organisational strenghts. Values shape all human behaviours and infleunce the wide-range of choices you make in life. Organisations are built on values and beliefs. For employees to align with them they first need to understand their our belief system, clarify the factors that shapes values and identify and appreciate the beliefs of others so as to anticipate and minimise potential conflicts with other thus improving company performance. Values and Diversity build bridges to understanding.
